History
DnA Research is a group of TAARNA Studios International, created by Pierre Lachapelle. Since 1985, when Lachapelle released the internationally acclaimed film "Tony de Peltrie," his pioneering work has led to significant breakthroughs in the world of computer animation. Some of his many accomplishments include the first computer-animated crowd; hair; and clothing; as well as the development of 3D paint. His latest achievement is the IMAX film "Adventures in Animation 3D" which was released in 2005.
Today, DnA develops rendering solutions for the demanding environment of the CG film production pipeline.
