Rib for every frame
Hello everybody!
I have 3delight for maya quadcore (2 lic.), and I have some problems.
I have to render a turntable of a character with fur (shave). All works fine, but 3DL generates a fur rib file (about 50 mb each) for every single frame. It tooks a huge amount of time to export rib. Is there an option to generate only one rib file or, at least, delete the old ones? in my scene nothing is moving except camera.

ok, I've found that with 3delight plugin for shave enabled, fur rib files will not be saved. BUT with the plugin activated, may fur is overexposed...any idea?

hello,you should control the 3delight shader for rendering When enable 3df-shave plugin.Not the shave attribute yet.
In the shader "shave.sl" there is a wrong specular,you should open it with notePad and go to the end whch like "Ci = ..."
multiply the specular by Oi ,you could get the right specular. Cheers�
